We took some visitors from India for a visit to this wonderful temple in Dividale, Birmingham. From the moment one enters the generously laid out parking lot, one is under a kind of divine spell. The beautifully lanscaped campus, adherence to classic Indian temple architecture, and the well planned lay-out of the various deities' shrines, all speak of a well thought out temple complex. The toilets are spic and span, and very hygienically maintained. The office staff help with all queries from the devotees in an extremely polite manner. Besides the community hall that has been there for over a decade now, a nice environment-friendly, totally plastic free dining hall has been around for the last few years. I learnt from one of the volunteers that a much larger dining hall is under construction - both halls are meant for catering free meals to devotees. I was told close to 5000 devotees dine every weekend. The main shrine - of Balaji or Lord Venkateswara - is serene and induces a sense of peace nad well-being even as you enter the sanctum. The fragrance so typical of south Indian temples, the prayer slokams and classical music in the background, all add to a sense of contentment. This is one temple every Hindu visitor to the UK must visit. Behind the existing dining hall are an Indian grocery store and a small, clean restaurant where I had the best ever south Indian filter coffee. Both are open seven days a week.

A very very vibe filled place to be if you are fond of temples. Especially if you are in a country outside of India when u r looking for some home like feeling I would say this is a must go. Positives: The shrines are built in such a way there is enough and more room for a clear view from a very far disfance as well. The main shrine our favourite Balaji stands tall magnificently. The first time I saw him I had goosebumps for quite some time. And it's a fantastic experience. Each shrine in there is planned so nicely Lord Ganesha, Lord முருக, Lord Shiva, Saibaba, Parvathi, Thayar Sanndhis / Shrines are well planned and looks very elegant and inviting. The space is absolutely spacious and has ample amount of space to run and play around. Ofcourse car padk too. The Conservatory serves food piping hot each time and its self served with absolutely cleanliness. Great experience. The place is safe and accessablity enabled so even physically challenged and elderly can walk in and out easily. Life provisions are available as well. If you are a youngster there is also a youth wing to join hands and participate. Suggest if u r visiting for the first time plan atleast 2 to 3 HRS to patiently move around immerse urself and enjoy the experience. Remove ur footwear in one corner, finish visiting all shrines and Dinesh prasadam and finally u can wear ur shoes back and return.

Calm clean and peaceful place of worship. This temple is the temple you find having a large spread campus, plenty of parking, built in the gopuram style just like Balaji temple of Thirupathi, also has separate ShriGanesha Shri Durga and Shri Sambsadashiva temple. For Archana and Aarathi there is a small queue of 15-20 people and wait time of 10 minutes but for Mukha Darshan there is no waiting. There is a clean place for shoes and toilets on the ground floor, where you also get tickets for Archana-Aarathi and laddu-Prasadam. A visit to the swadesh stores will get you all necessary Indian items There is a dining hall where lunch is served from 12.30 to 3.30 pm, there is no charge and you have to queue up for the same, but it’s so well organised and clean with a hygiene rating of 5 that it deserves an applaud. We had sambar and Rice which was very filling and satisfying. It is best to drop some donation in their box to say Thankyou. If you go at a time when this is not available or you are timetied you can have food at the dosa hotel next to the Swadesh stores. I parcelled some meduvada and daal vada and it was fresh and good till evening, it is served with fresh chutney and sambaar at the dine in.

This temple is a must visit- if you are visiting Birmingham. It’s designed in the style of the Tirupathi Venkateswara Balaji temple.Such a fantastic, elegant Hindu shrine I had the privilege of visiting the Balaji Temple, and it proved to be a truly serene and spiritually enriching experience. From the moment I entered the temple grounds, I felt immersed in a peaceful ambiance that provided a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The architectural grandeur of the temple was simply breathtaking. Every inch of the structure was intricately designed and meticulously maintained, reflecting the devotion and dedication of those who frequent the temple. This temple is surrounded by nature and immersed in the richness of the spiritual traditions, is truly unparalleled. If you're seeking a place of spiritual solace or a chance to connect with your inner self, the Shri Venkateswara (Balaji) Temple is the perfect place to find it. Laddus were amazing and taste remind me of Balaji Temple in India.

Very nice temple - beautiful architecture, stunning scenery and peaceful environment. The temple is located on a vast area of land with plenty of parking. Parking is free. They have many different pooja’s. Check online for prices. Customer service - the lady at the counter in the reception below the temple was very rude (typical Asian rudeness). My mother asked questions, but she had a very “rude” attitude towards my mother as if we should already know the answer and did not respond to her with positivity or any sort of care. This was when we visited evening on 7th Sept. Please, train your staff to have manners. It’s a temple, where people should come together as community and help Each other. Other than that, we encountered no problem and would recommend people to visit for peace and to reflect.
