🛝SCARVA PARK🛝 💚We went to check out the new play park in Scarva I’m so glad we did, It’s amazing! 🌈With so many different things to do for all ages and abilities. 🌳Enjoy a short circular walk around the lake or through the small wooded areas and open grasslands. Want to walk a bit further, take the Newry Canal path. This relaxing walk follows the towpath of the former Newry Portadown Canal. 🧺We took a picnic to enjoy, there are plenty of picnic tables dotted about. ℹ️Parking is free but small so can get quite busy. Accessible toilets on site.

A nice park with a short easy walks that are suitable for all, including those with limited mobility. There is a childrens' playpark and picnic benches throughout. We saw plenty of wildlife too, for example, robins, blue tits, bullfinches, reed buntings, Grey Heron, moorhens and ducks. The carpark is free and holds about 20 cars. On our visit we saw no dog fouling and very little litter. This is a nice park to visit if you live locally or are visiting the area. Note - The children's playpark is undergoing a major upgrade in May/June 2022.

Great park for walking and relaxing. Good circuit walk around the large pond filled with Ducks and other little birds. A modern play park for children and a full size football pitch available for use year round. Not too busy especially in mornings and late evenings. Park closes at 9pm / 10pm
