You used to be able to park on verge/pavement. But now NO Parking and sign angle is not facing on going traffic so you don't see it. So no more swimming at a good access stop.

Long sandy beach, great for dog walkers. Nice views of the harbour area and the island of Aran. Very calm shallow sea with huge boulders about.
