So listen yeah – me is a proud Welshman, first time ever hittin’ up a proper Scottish chippy. Walks in late, they was closin’ down, but instead of tellin’ me “nah bredrin, kitchen’s shut,” these angels come thru like saints and bless me wid FREE scran. Respek!

Da fish was bangin’, chips crispy like a fresh Adidas tracksuit, and yo – them ladies behind the counter? Bruv… words cannot describe. Straight up beautiful, inside AND out. Honestly, I’m ready to move to Ardrossan and marry every single one of dem. Café Palazzo not only feeds ya belly, it feeds ya soul.

Massive love, 5*, and that's only cos I can't give more, would recommend to every homie rollin’ through Scotland. If you ain’t been here yet – you iz missin’ out big time.

We stumbled accross this place at a last minute food stop. We had been on the Isle of arran all day, had just got off the ferry with 3 tired and hungry kids. As soon as we walked In, the service was so friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, they went above and beyond to assure the kids were fed and happy, the food came quickly and was absolutely delicious! Fresh and so tasty! We desperately wanted a gelato from the huge ice cream counter but we're too full. We will be returning on our next trip to Scotland for sure. The value for money was brilliant! Have been told on many occasions that Cafe Palazzo is one of the best chip shops plus i have always wanted to try a certain Italian dessert phoned to a delivery to have the phone ring for a good minute then was hung up on phoned back they answered to which i asked for a delivery as i am a bit immobilized due to health reasons plus dont drive was told they dont delivery to my town which is part of the three town so that was a very quick second call so if you live in Stevenston dont waste your time calling bad service from start wont be even going there in person just to let people know not a good...
