A lovely spot just off the road, accessible via a short walk along a stone and grass track, uphill but not challenging. The views are beautiful and the circle is considerably in tact. The track runs through farmland with loose sheep so keep dogs on leads. There is a kissing gate to access the circle itself. Not a large site or circle but definitely worth a stop off to experience. May not be suitable for those with mobility issues, although the site can be mostly seen from the track. There is little parking, but room for a car or two without blocking the track entrance, it was deserted when I arrived (peak season) and I had the place to myself.

Very nice stone circle. Just make sure you park at the bottom and walk up. The area is fenced off with a kissing gate and is located right next to the road. There wasn't any information giving any history. The views were amazing atop the circle.

A bit underwhelming, with a carpark for 2 cars, not sure it was worth the stroll up someone's gravel drive?

This is a great little neolithic stone structure that is situated short way away from Machrie Moor Standing Stones. The site itself is another Neolithic Burial Chamber from the Neolithic and goes along away to explaining The Isle of Arran earliest people and the lives they led along with the cultures, customs and rituals. The Cairn also offers spectacular views of Kintyre and the Kilbrannan Sound. The walk up to it is a short one as it is not too far from the main road so is very easily accessible and also convenient. Overall a lovely little Neolithic to...
