Yes it's ruins but it's free! We thought it was fascinating. A 16th century "castle" sitting at the top of Seaview beach. It must have had incredible views across the sea when it was a home. Be careful if exploring with children as there are steep drops in places and quite a lot of nettles but it really is quite a special place. Think about the people who laid the stones. Did they ever think that in 500yrs people would still visit? Treat these places with respect for those who sweat blood and tears to build them.

A nice 16th century lairds house on the cliff top in poor condition. It still has the vault mostly whole lot's of nice stone work an interesting area for a walk . It's a shame to see these buildings go this way once they are gone they are gone for good.

Canny little ruin to explore. Hidden away in the trees as you head towards seacliff beach. Once you go through the parking barrier, turn left & it's fairly easy to find from there.

You can enjoy the beach and from there you can see The Tantallon Castle and the and The Bass Rock Lighthouse. Prison / Fort. Also you can walk through Seacliff Harbour. It's a really...
