Boat of Garten Golf & Tennis Club — Attraction in Scotland

Having played Boat of Garten a few times before I knew what to expect in terms of quality and layout in this James Braid gem. My golfing partner had never played Boat but after his round,he's definitely wanting to return. Amazing course condition considering it's February in the Highlands!! He needs to experience the quality greens in the summer. Also would like to complement the staff who are always welcoming and so easy to book at short notice,and not forgetting a big thanks to the pro for providing me a battery for my trolley free of charge! If you're looking for a great course to play in Aviemore area then don't overlook,here you won't be disappointed.Never get tired of playing...

Cracking little course, friendly staff in the club house and the breakfast roll was delicious before starting the round.

Due to layout of the course on the natural terrain some greens and run ups to the greens may be more or less exposed to sunlight so a couple holes the greens felt quicker or slower respectively. This was after a morning of rain also after a dry spell so it could just be due to timing and circumstances. In no way did this affect the enjoyment.

Wow, what an experience I had here! I turned up for a late night drink after a very wet and cold and horribly long cycle day, 150km from Perth. The staff whom let me in, Jane I believe, was absolutely lovely and one of the most helpful people I met on my two week cycle journey! I must say that the golf club is home to lovely locals (including Graham) and the rest of the team. It was one of the highlights of my trips stopping here.
