There's a reason Calgary Bay is one of the top tourist destinations on Mull. Tucked away about 45 minutes (yes, seriously) along single track road from Tobermory, or just over an hour from Craignure this gorgeous beach spot looks out onto stunning headland and backs on to woodland and a small protected area of dune habitat for birds and plants. There is a car park at the North end of the beach, paid by donation, with a small snack facility (not during covid). At the southern end over a small stream is a camping area and small locally maintained public loos, handy if you've been in the sea! The biggest issue is that the toilets are a very long walk from the carpark and people let their dogs chase the wildlife. It's the most well-known on Mull so busier than some others, but big enough for you not to feel too crowded. The carpark isn't huge but we've never had a problem parking.
