Absolutely fantastic place we stayed the night in our motorhome by the loch in a parkup then had a walk around the loch in the morning, there's so much to see and there are different things for kids to do as you walk around, at only 4 miles it's and easy walk and there's only a small part as you come into town where you have to leave the loch and walk on the roadside path. Loved the walk and the overnight park up we'd definitely use it again 😁👍

Had a really lovely relaxing walk around Castle Loch. Seeing lots of different birds and the mushrooms were amazing, if a mushroom can be amazing! This time of year (end of October) is perfect as the colours are wonderful!

Lovely 5Km trail around the Loch, good paths and board walks. Mostly wheelchair friendly access and level too.

Had a lovely walk around Loch. It was quite a pleasant walk, but I was pleased to have decided to walk anti-clockwise. My husband is a wheelchair user, and we are always looking for walks to do. The path was a little rocky in places and tree roots, but we expect that. There was one particular step bit down (enence the anti-clockwise is the better route) seen lots of different birds and a lot of blue...

A great place to visit if you want to unwind. Try having a picnic at the castle. There is a complete circular walk available. If you are walking by on a Sunday afternoon or Thursday evening, you will see dinghies racing on the water. On Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings, you will see newcomers to sailing being coached at the local...
