Some confusion has arisen regarding park opening times because it is listed as a park and garden, but the opening times refer to the Demonstration Garden, not the park. There are three main car parks and lots of other ways in a out of the park if you're on foot. The park itself is open 24/7 as are the car parks.

The main car park is on the west side in Caenlochan Place. I have been visiting the park for twenty years and have never been unable to get a space there. There's a glass recycling bin there and 2 AC chargers for cars (Type 2 - and you'll need your own cable).

Other car parks are off off Strathern Road on the south side at Dunnottar Place, and Ellieslea Road - which is smaller but opens directly into the park with no railings.

If you are on foot there's an entrance to the east at Dawson Road / Fairfield Road, from the Abroath Road on the north, right opposite the entrance to Claypotts Park (where you'll definitely not be able to stop or park) and also on the southwest corner (Claypotts Terrace / Grove Road). These tend to be...

A once lovely green space now being allowed to grow wild.I thought this was understandable due to staff shortages because of the pandemic.Seemingly this is not the case. According to the council this is to benefit the widlife. What utter rubbish anything to save money. On a day that we have been made aware of how much the tax payer is having to pay for senior council officials wages in Dundee I find it is a disgrace that the city is in such a mess.Get rid of over played officials and get the money to the front line to help the workers give us green spaces to be proud of.Big shout out to Angus council who have tended to the parks ...

Located on the eastern side of the city, this park is a lovely place to enjoy nature and take a break from urban life. It becomes particularly stunning during cherry blossom season. I really love visiting it during mid-April to take in that beauty. There are several playgrounds adjacent to the park, and Claypott Castle is just a few hundred...

Unbelievably pretty. Wide, even paths. Lots of places to sit and rest, think, journal, picnic, chat or whatever else your heart desires. Easy parking, a few entrances, play park and sports fields too. Lots to offer, simple access, really lovely park.
