This place makes for a fantastic and lovely day out in the heart of Tweeddale with fantastic and spectacular picturesque views of the surrounding area. Although not a vast and big garden it still provides beauty and there is plenty to see and do with the Walled Garden and Woodland Walk on offer and both are exceptional and stunning. The Walled Garden is exceptional enclosed with some beautiful flower borders providing a terrific array of colour and beauty on the eye. There is the Large Greenhouse that provides a nice and lovely backdrop and the walled garden also provides lovely picturesque views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The other parts of the attraction is The Woodland Walk which makes for a gentle and relaxing walk where you blown by the beautiful Azaleas and Rhododendrons on show which are absolutely magical and out of this world as the mix of colours is beautiful on the eye and exquisite along with the fact the mix of the different colours blend spectacularly well together and together with the woodland make for an exceptional and stunning show. Another addition is the bridge and also the fountain which just add to the idyllic nature of the woodland very well. There a couple of summerhouse style huts to have a look which looks good. The Woodland Walk takes you down to the Vista Pond where you beautiful views of the Leithen Hills and the ponds also provide a lovely spectacular foreground and background to the gardens together with the Rhododendrons. There is also the famous Larch which makes for an amazing view and also a putting green to provide a great fun interaction for a brief moment. There are also fishing ponds providing a nice opportunity for anglers. The Restaurant provides a nice range of food and drink at affordable prices and the gift shop has a nice amount of souvenirs at decent reasonable prices. Overall this is a beautiful garden to visit and is enjoyable and great to take in all the breathtaking beauty on offer. Well worth a visit in the Peebles and...

so I give more 5 star reviews than my partner but Kailzie Gardens really is terrific. Ignore the sat nav otherwise you'll end up in the tradesmen entrance and go in the white stone gates! Parking is easy and disabled parking also available. The gardens are absolutely beautiful, such a nice mix of formal walled gardens, hot house (being done up at the moment) and wooded free growing areas. Well marked and mapped out with great seats for soaking in the silence well other than mother nature. The restaurant is definitely worth a visit, the coffee was fresh and hot and the pancakes light and fluffy. Fabulous service OK so I give more 5 star reviews and thank you to the gardener who helped my understand what an ivy leaf geranium is. They are my new favourite plant. If not available in the plant shop then they had some in the country store down the road! We decided not to go fishing or on the putting green but both available here too. A lovely day...

The walled garden is fantastic given it's maintained by only 3 staff I believe. The shop has some interesting little items and some quirky pictures and antiques are available in the cafe. We had lunch of soup and tea\coffee and I couldn't resist one of the many cakes\tray bakes on offer. Good value and very tasty. We didn't try the fishing or putting green, but did wander around the wider woods which we again amazing. Our neighbours recommended this place to us and whilst we didn't go with the children we'd definitely go back with them. Access to the gardens is about £5\person (check website for actual price) and well worth it for me. Not a place you could spend the whole day perhaps, but nice if you have a few hours spare.

Probably worth a visit any other time of the year, but wouldn't recommend it during the winter. Don't begrudge paying entry when there are plants and flowers in bloom, but feel that charging during winter when there are literally just snowdrops is a bit cheeky! The woodland walk wasn't as long as we thought it would be, the map is a little deceiving in that respect, so was a bit of a disappointing visit. Went into the cafe for coffee and all four drinks were not hot, which given the price you'd expect them to be! It is nice that it's dog friendly, but if you want a decent woodland walk then I'd go elsewhere.

Gardens are incredibly lovely and paths are buggy friendly. My little girl was made incredibly welcome by staff (given a little bottle of bubbles when we entered). Some gardens feel too manicured or too formal for children, and although these were immaculate the atmosphere was not at all formal or unwelcoming. New cafe is brilliant and the coffee is superb. Will definitely visit again soon
