Nowt much to say except wear wellies in autumn/winter or wet weather. Short moorland/woodland walk with great views. Lots of flora & fauna to spot and explore. Keep to paths as terrain can become V boggy of tracks. Too many dog walkers letting their dogs off lead. Dog poo bags dumped or fired into trees, dogs killing shrews, dogs growling/barking at other walkers/path users.

Rather easy to get there, a small carparking facility at both sides of the road. The route is also easy but with different environment, just follow the route shown on the map at the entrance. Your will come cross forest, lawn, lake, a not very topical journey. This take you around one and half hour to complete.

Very nice place but sometimes some total areosols leave their bags of trash here after camping. It's these androgynous troglodyte oxygen theives who ruin public spaces and the outdoors for everyone. Take a strong trash bag and carry out some stuff others have left, if you can.

Lovely woodland walk but very short. You can walk round the paths in 20minutes but if you go through the gate at the end there's a fabulous walk on the Moor with stunning views of Ben Lomond and the Arrochar Alps. There are signs warning to keep dogs on the lead due to nesting birds and sometimes there is livestock. However most dogs are off lead out of nesting season and if there's no livestock. It's not usually busy so great for a quiet walk. It's just over an hour at a leisurely pace depending on what...
