Stayed at Ace Adventures and they recommended we visit here for breakfast. The cafe opens @ 10am. We viewed the menu but we're disappointed to find that between 10 - 11.30 the only options were Bacon, Black Pudding or Egg Roll. There were 7 of us and the place was virtually empty with 2 ladies seated eating a scone. I kindly asked if it was possible to order a few paninis off the main menu as most of our group were veggie and didn't fancy an egg roll. There were 2 front of House staff stood doing not very much because the place was empty but one advised the main menu started at 11.30am. I informed her I was aware of that but wondered if it was possible to have a few of the veggie paninis as my group didn't want an egg roll. The cook was walking through and stated that they made up the panini combinations fresh so were only ready from 11.30am. I was puzzled by this comment as why did it matter whether a panini was ordered at 10.40am or 11.30am if it was made up fresh? The cook advised the only alternative option he would offer was a scone as the staff needed a break before starting service at 11.30am despite only opening at 10am. I hope the owners here can afford to turn away approx £60 - £70 business (the approx cost of 7 paninis and drinks) when the cafe courtyard is empty as back home at the restaurant I manage we'd be demonstrating a lot more flexibility and better...

Logie is just incredibly calming. A haven in this crazy world. Highlights for me are the garden, which is beautiful, the walks along the river, and sitting outside in the courtyard on a sunny day just listening to the birds....with a cuppa and a delicious cake or scone! The cafe offers good quality food. Is isn't cheap, but everything I've had, has been lovely. I've seen the craft workshops change over the years and the selection is not as varied as it once was but it's still nice to drop by and see what's new. All in all, Logie Steading is a perfect place to spend a few hours. It's family owned and has seen 6 generations living there. It's obviously a cherished family home and I believe you can feel the family's love for the place in how beautiful it is maintained. Yes, it's a business too....but to me, that always feels secondary. I adore Logie Steading and visit whenever I'm in Moray. Well worth the short trip from the...

I'm really blown away by this place. I've lived in Moray for a few years but never gotten to visit, so was overjoyed to visit with a friend. Brilliant coffee at the cafe and great staff, though it was busy we were sat comfortably enjoying the live music while we waited. I expected to pop in for a quick coffee, but over an hour after we finished I found myself leaving the wee book shop and heading to the gallery. The wee book shop feels like walking into someone's private library, except with the warmest welcome. The gentleman at the desk was so helpful, especially to the trapped bee (the second one that day, apparently!) in gently letting it out. Just such a lovely, calm environment and I left with some treasures. The art gallery was beautiful also, such an array of work for sale, many notably local. I didn't have time to check out much else but that just leaves an excuse to...

First impressions weren't great as it seemed to be a hotel stuck in the 1980's in terms of decor. The rooms were small and a bit sterile although that might just be due to Covid to be fair and were very clean. Having said that the staff were fabulous, really welcoming and helpful especially Terri! The food was fantastic and we had great views from our room and restaurant- best fish pie I've ever had. It's a great location just maybe in need of redocoration to upgrade it given the price.

You can happily spend a good bit of time here, there is plenty to see and do. I enjoyed visiting the gardens cost of entrance is £2 via an honesty box. It is nice to enjoy the flowers and the lovely aroma. After visiting the gardens you have a great choice you can visit the Olive Tree Cafe, the second hand bookshop, the gallery or the farm/gift shop. If that is not enough you can go for a good walk they are way marked. All in all this is just a super place to come. I highly recommend it.
