August 23: visited again for lunch. Service good despite being queue out of the door (1pm). Choice for lunch is limited , soup, sandwiches , couple of seafood items and a burger. Posh fish finger sandwich was ok, could have done with seasoning. nice fish, nice rocket salad and home made slaw but bread was just standard sliced white bread which was half toasted and soggy so disappointing. Other half had a burger and came to £26. Cakes are small squares/ pieces at £3.75 which is not good value. July 23: Lovely place to visit for a snack or lunch.....surrounded by interesting range of shops to mooch in ( although sad to see that the whisky shop has closed) and a lovely Riverside walk. Also the gorgeous Logie House walled garden on site to look around for a small fee . The cafe is pleasant, and there is plenty of Shady and sunny outdoor seating, service was prompt with a number system. Sadly tea was pretty tasteless and my scone, while good size and texture was also pretty tasteless...needed a pinch of salt and much more cheese to qualify as a cheese scone! Date slice was very pleasant ....the cakes and scones are a little pricey at £3.25. Didn't have lunch items but there appears to be a good range of tasty looking dishes. Hope to try next time.

Lovely hidden place. In a geen Environment and in combination with a few shops for whiskey, gifts, art, garden stuf and plants, etc. I ate a panini with cranberries, brie and walnut, my husband had soup and a pastry with chicken, tasted good! You can take a (very short) walk afterwards along the river, wich we did. It gives you a nice view.

Visited here three times now. Excellent coffee and cakes, Good for breakfast rolls and lunches. Several Gluten Free options by routine. Indoor and outdoor seating, dog friendly (but please check before going in). Bicycle friendly (if they're well behaved bikes 😉).

We turned up for a late lunch at 3.30 this afternoon - bearing in mind that the sign outside clearly states open 9 am - 5 pm - only to be greeted with the following phrase after we had sat down and were discussing potential options. "Sorry to burst your bubble but the kitchen is closed" - almost as if the person was pleased that she had inconvenienced us! Somewhat surprised by this very weird greeting, my friends and I went outside but I did go back in to enquire why the sign said 5 pm. I was told that on the menus that it did state that lunch ended at 3.30 pm. Well why not state this on the sign outside, so that people can make their own decisions. A breakdown of times for breakfast, lunch and dinner would stop disappointment from the outset. So we went to Househill instead where we were greeted with a warm welcome and had a lovely lunch. Based on that one rather rude experience we won't be back to your...

Stopped off here for a coffee and snack with my pal and her two little dogs, so we sat outside. The waitress was lovely and petted the dogs. She also brought them a fresh bowl of water. Another lady who I guessed was staff, stopped to admire the dogs and chatted with us for a while too. A very friendly place. My pal loved her bacon roll and coffee and I had what I can only describe as the best fruit scone I've ever had! Absolutely full of fruit and I was also impressed with the fact that I got two pats off butter. One for each half, plus jam of course. Also as a bit of a coffee snob I was very impressed with the flavour of my americano. Can't...
