Christmas decoration making evening. Very disappointed as there was nothing left to put on decorations. We have made door wreaths and swags every year for four years mainly at Forfar Loch and every year we are delighted.

At Forfar everything supplied from tea, coffee and cake along with a huge amount of supplies such as cinnamon sticks, dried orange, bows and glitter etc. It is also indoors with bright lights so you can see what you are doing.

Forfar Loch decoration making is no longer available as no longer open. Unfortunate as far superior to Monikie. Defintely not worth the money paid. Also Forfar allowed you to pay on the night for Monikie i was told i had no alternative but to purchase via their Angus Live website. Using this you are charged for your tickets but you are also charged a booking fee which I feel is unfair. I would have much rather of paid when we arrived as i would have asked for our money back.

Both forfar and Monikie run by Angus Council. Unfortunate one is so good and...

May '17Rangers John and (?sp) Rory were fun, enthusiastic, down to earth (literally!) and interesting on the wildflower walk in the lovely left-to-nature corner of the park. I liked that this walk was advertised as kid-friendly. Actually, I just liked the tone here. This event was enriched because John is very knowledgeable about connected things: the local history, good bike rides outwith the park, where to see lupins - all sorts! This park has watersports equipment for hire and runs taster sessions, open water swimming (specific times only), a playpark and adventure playground, high ropes bookable activities, ranger-led nature activities, orienteering, trails for kids, barbecues for hire, a cafe, something for everyone and all well advertised. It's a boon to the area - I wish we were nearer! July '17 - Don't forget...

I visited the park on 29th August for the first time. The park is fantastic and we had a great family meet-up. I arrived about noon and needed to use the ladies toilet and was absolutely DISGUSTED with the state of the it - only one was in use. The plug didn’t flush so it was full of soggy paper and the cubicle was very messy inside too. There was NO SOAP in the dispensers which again was totally unacceptable at this time. The government guidance is wash you’re hands often with soap and water. Well that was impossible.

Please can this be rectified, because it’s the type of place where you can enjoy a lot of time outdoors walking and kids can use the play park. Obviously most people do need to use the toilet during a day out.

Only 2 stars due to the state of public...

It is a water reservoir for Dundee, with water sport activities, plenty of forestry covers the surrounding area, which is home to indigenous Red Squirrels. A rather energetic group of ducks squabble among themselves,in the hope of scrounging food! Dashing from one side of an inlet,to the other! There's a large car parking space, but they charge £2.80 for the day. Whether you relax by taking in the scenery,or feel more energetic, you have all day to do it! The reason for my not giving a higher rating, was due to the café not being open, during my visit! There's a Rangers Service in side an old building,a cafeteria nearby

We had a woodland walk. We were with a group that had quite a few disabled and the rangers couldnt be more accommodating if they tried. My oldest son and i seperated from the group to get some quality time together and went to the reception for some ideas. The lady there was lovely and extremely helpful. Before we knew it we were in a Canadian Canoe. Wet suits etc were included in the price which was very reasonable. It was a fantastic experience and we cant wait to go back. Would highly recommend to anyone.
