Cafe Byzantium — Restaurant in Scotland

A big thanks to Renia & her team for an amazing surprise party for mum's 70th. The venue really suits to a private hire as it feels intimate but also you can host a good number inside. Also in warmer weather there is outdoor space available. As our local village restaurant, we had already sampled the food and warm customer service on many an occasion. This was so reassuring to me when planning the event and the meal exceeded expectations (with many a new customer found i believe). The communication and personal care & touches from the team definitely contributed to the smooth running of the night. And they were very receptive to any suggestions or requests from my side. Top 5 meal of my life. If not #1.

Everything was perfect. You can really tell they care about the experience. Owned and operated by a wonderful family. The mother and father have God given talent for food and Steven the son and his cousin (forgot her name) were gracious hosts.

Best flat bread of my life. The prawns were cooked in a butter base that was unforgettable. So much flavor, I didn't know shrimp could taste that good. The pizza was fantastic. The baklava was heavenly. My family raved about it for the remainder of the trip.

We had a fantastic experience at Cafe Byzantium. Food was excellently prepared, nice selection of wine and nothing was too rich or lacking in flavour. Ideal for families, intimate meals or a nice evening out. The absolute highlight was the service from the waiting staff. All of the girls serving were polite, attentive and mature for their age. We've been to many restaurants with experienced service staff and without a doubt the girls were of the highest calibre.
