Restoration finally finished and open to walkers/cyclists from 8th July 2019. Key available to see the angels and stars inside the crypt from Lothian Estate Office, Bonjedward, Jedburgh. Brilliant place with stunning views all around and a mysterious story of a strange Victorian knight. Occasional vehicle access and guided tours during Open Weekends, see website...

Fantastic renovation of a beautiful building. Stunning location with great 360 degrees over the surrounding Borders countryside. Definitely recommend getting the key to gain access to the mausoleum, well worth the £5 donation. Well done to all concerned in saving this very...

Monteath's Mausoleum is set in the most beautiful countryside with a stunning view of the Eildons. Flat walk but very stoney. Not ideal for wheelchair users. Can't wait for the restorations to be finished. I'll gladly come back to view the mausoleum when...
