Beach is clean and beautiful. Short boardwalk takes you down into the beach or in front of the car park (disabled parking too) are steps leading into the sand. Food available at the café also a take away kiosk shop selling beach things like buckets and spades and ice cream. Paddling pool, sand pit and a play park area for children. There are 3 free car parks The things that you might want to consider when you visit is there are no permanent toilets. In the summer time though there portable toilets and an accessible one. There are no toilets out of season. There are plans to refurbish the playing area and if the council is reading this please leave it as it is. Taking away the padding pool and replacing it with a few fountains is a downgrade and at a cost of thousands too. Here's a saying for you, if it ain't broke don't fix it! There is a lovely building here, the pavilion but it remains empty! Please use the extra money you have and open it! It has toilets and it could be a great café,...

Cold in February when we visited and found this gem of a place we we're unaware of it, but had a great day out with the wife. 😉

Also there we found a Lovely tribute statue to the WW2 mine sweeper trainees as seen on my pictures by picknick benches on we had brought our own lunch, which are well placed and clean bin provided, and a cafe across road Not open cause of covid-19 restrictions at moment But are open now!to grab a coffee etc but beware though, I only received a half cup of coffee not happy! The other day I visited. but has ample parking for 20 cars with benches placed along carpark / walkway with a cracking raised platform with a good view point!😎👌 But sadly not acceptable for wheelchair access as it has stairs only to reach the viewing deck! But overall a lovely place to visit and enjoy the views of beautiful beach and of course the sea. Nice walk along behind GSK plant Montrose to harbour and back. Couple benches along the...

Montrose Beach is truly one of Scotland's most stunning natural treasures. With its seemingly endless stretches of pristine sand and dunes, it’s an idyllic place for a peaceful walk, bird watching or simply admiring the beautiful Scottish coastline. The stunning views of the North Sea and surrounding countryside are a visual treat that takes your breath away. The local amenities and convenient parking facilities add to the overall experience, while the town of Montrose, with its rich history and charm, is only a stone's throw away. Don't forget to check out the protected nature reserve, where the local wildlife thrives. If you're looking for a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of life, Montrose Beach is the perfect place. Highly...
