First time visiting today Due to the varying problems on our local beach. We came to Montrose with the dog today. We have been past it many times. It did not disappoint. I had the Soup of the Day Cream of Mushroom. Followed by Baked Beans and Cheese Toastie. Which was delicious. My mum also had the Soup and a Toastie. Both delicious also. The dog enjoyed having a nap outside. It was fully booked indoors. Would definitely advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Otherwise the dog friendly seating outdoors is nice. Plenty of Car parking spaces nearby. Public Toilets are within walking distance. Although they were out of action today. Would certainly recommend this place. Especially if you have a dog. Would certainly go back again.

A brilliant quirky little place where we had a fantastic breakfast on a Saturday morning. A good complete traditional breakfast for £11.95. Good value and really helpful friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. It’s also dog friendly and really good fun. Sorry about the picture I was so taken by the food I had started eating before I realised a picture might be a good idea.

A friend told us about this place and as it is dog friendly we thought we’d give it a try and are glad we did. Staff are very friendly and the coffee and the hot filled rolls were delicious. Our Whippet, Biscuit enjoyed her doggy frozen yoghurt but was jealous of the dog at the next table who was munching on a sausage!

Open since early summer with new owners. Beautiful inside. Fresh food prepared quickly. Friendly and attentive staff. It's clear to see the new owners are here to stay. We arrived without reservations but they made us welcome even though I could see reservations on tables with the rest of the spaces taken up by customers. But by no means was it hectic, it was very relaxed, the clientele mainly older and there was plenty of staff to cope with demand. I would definitely go back. Great customer service. I noticed a window at the back of the building for take away food. veggie options on the menu. I also love that this pavilion has been here since 1915! there is a dedicated wall plaque dedicated to the men who gave a donation to make it possible. ♿ ramp access from the side of the pavilion to the front door. Enough room to manoeuvre a small mobility scooter. Not sure about accessible toilet as I...

I took my husband for his birthday lunch. I had a delicious baked potato with Coronation Chicken and a small side salad, Brian had a Cajun Chicken Ciabatta with baby tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and topped with grilled Halloumi, with a small side salad, Coleslaw and Tortilla chips. He thoroughly enjoyed his although couldn't finish it because there was so much of it(not a bad thing, just neither of us can eat a big meal). I loved my baked potato and the Coronation chicken was delicious, and although we were going to have a cake with our coffee we didn't have room, so took one home for later. Everything was freshly made and the service was excellent, the staff were really attentive and we'll definitely go back as...
