The woman at the entrance desk was pleasant and had a nice smile. Had read in the local newspaper about the new exhibition and other projects in development at the centre.

This place deserves to be better known. Why is it not shouting about its fantastic collection of modern art? Items from permanent collection always on display and interesting temporary exhibitions. A beautiful light, bright space with wonderful sea views. Every time I visit there has been great exhibitions as well as their usual collection. It's a lovely gallery.

Simply fantastic. A spacious gallery over 3 floors in a wonderfully designed space overlooking the harbour. The collection of art includes artists of national significance such as Hepworth and Nicholson as well as artists with links to Orkney such as Cursiter and Wishart.
