Play areas have been vandalised by teenagers and are unsafe for children. Broken glass, damaged floors, snapped fence posts, pointy burnt molten plastic and general waste all around.
After contacting the local council we were told that the park will not be getting repaired due to it being vandalised multiple times.
Acceptable?
Growing up in this area and being a teenager myself I remember "frequently" getting moved on by community support officers or the police for standing around the park in groups.
I walk through this park almost daily since this is my route to work. At the weekends the playpark area always has "masses" of drunk teens. I know many people who refuse to walk through the park due to this.
So this is where my problem is with the local councils reply.
Why should my "children" suffer? Why are these teens left there? Out of sight out of mind? Why is there no "preventative measures" being taken rather than "reactively" refusing to repair. Why should my council tax be used to repair...

Just as broken glass is not safe for pet paws ,dog waste is not safe for humans and especially small children ; and just as one likes to maintain their own garden and home clean , please pick up your own and your Pet's waste.

Broken glass everywhere, the only seat I've come across is vandalised, as well as any signs that gave information on the park.
The amount of wildlife in the park is amazing and would be an ideal place to walk the dogs but there are no dog poo bins throughout meaning people either don't pick up the mess or throw it into the bushes. Wouldn't advise walking the dogs either with the amount of broken glass everywhere.
