The Port Gallery — Attraction in Scotland

I recently had two pictures which were looking really shabby reframed at The Port Gallery, this has given them a whole new look for our new house, I shared our colour scheme with the lovely lady in the gallery and her suggestions worked perfectly to compliment the pictures which are really precious memories, and the rooms they would go into. I also had an older painting which had come away from the frame and had been sitting in my attic for years, it looked old and past it’s best. They totally refurbished this, the staff are so knowledgable, caring and highly experienced. They could have charged me for a new frame for the painting, instead the lady told me it was a really good frame which would be expensive to replace and she would see what she could do to repair it. She totally refurbished it, cleaning it carefully by hand and repairing the back. It’s beautiful, like a new frame again. It wasn’t just the work they carried out that made me smile when I saw my pictures it was the joy on the lady’s face to see how happy I was when she showed me the completed works. I can’t recommend this little gem of a gallery highly enough. They also have lots of beautiful pieces of art and lots of gifts too. The bonus to top off our day was the lovely tea coffee and hot snacks we enjoyed to refuel before our long drive home, they have tables and benches outside where you can relax and enjoy your food and toilets nearby which you can use too. I’ll definitely be returning. Can’t recommend The Port Gallery...

I recently visited the Port Gallery and asked them to frame something for a present. They were exceptionally helpful when it came to helping choose the frame and had some excellent ideas on the layout. Within 2 days I received my framed item and am absolutely delighted with the results - cannot recommend the Port Gallery highly enough.
