This must be the most under used beach in east lothian as there was loads of space and sand. We're not complaining given the pandemic it was great to have such space and peacefully quiet. Great to see the sandcastles, kids with kites, ball games, frizbies, paddles and swimming. Parking at Thorntonloch was over flowing despite the beach not being over crowded but we parked at Torness Power Station as there is always tons of space and not far to walk either to the beach. Know that the sandstone rock forming beneath your feet layer upon tiny layer is also eroding with each tide against the cliff. The moon pulls against the earth's seas as we spin around the sun. Our lifespans hardly meriting a single frame in these geologic processes.
