The tower is in a beautiful area, with a small free car park just across the main road. There are also some lovely footpaths along the nearby stream and through the woodland. Very interesting place that could be much improved with a little maintenance and some signs with information about the tower and local history. I get the feeling that this place is used by local teens, due to the numerous tyre tracks through the grass and the amount of empty alcohol cans and bottles. The lovely community around Seaham requlary meet up to do litter picks, but sadly, due to gangs of youths mainly; litter & vandalism returns.
