Really interesting old shipping wreck.
You can go inside BUT with great caution. There is some wooden lats that have been put in close to the bottom side of the wreck that allow for much easier entry.
The ship is on heavy degree of slant so it's worth being careful. It can be slippy af. Also super rusty so be careful where you put your hands on the climb!
Be super careful where you step. Especially if you go inside the cabin areas. The floor is rusted out and very weak in spots. There are some areas of the ship that if you slip or fall into, you will not be able to climb out.
Lastly and probably most importantly. Watch the TIDE. The tide when high batters the ship and all the metal fragments around become mobile and smash everything. The tide will cut you off and trap you on the ship if you don't watch it.
Well worth an explore though! Very...

It can be seen from the path and there is a small sign giving information about the ship. If you do venture down to the ship be mindful of the tide (although high tide doesn't normally cover the wreck). If the weather is wet the rocks can be a slip hazard as can the old pieces of metal some of which also have sharp edges (as can be seen in the fourth photography on...
Read moreOn March 22, 2003, the cargo ship RMS Mülheim crashed into the rocky shore and settled on a sandbank in Gamper Bay between Sennen Cove and Land's End.
The remains of RMS Mülheim still lie in the rocky bay, progressively rusting over time.
Descending from the South West Coast Path to the cove where the wreck rests is challenging due to tides and steep, slippery rocks. Therefore, we opted not to descend but admired the wreck from above, gazing from the cliff's summit.
A fascinating sight, serving as a reminder of the strength and...
