Gorgeous open spaces full of beautiful wooded trails for anybody who likes short or the longer walks/hikes. So pretty in spring with all the new flowers sprouting in gorgeous blue & purple and white flowers. It looked perfect. A lot of birds and wildlife around also which is good to see. This place should be protected at all cost, its jst such a little treasure, I was intrigued to know about the mountain bike trail also, as my sons started doing this recently, we went to look around so he could get a good feel for the area. Maybe a bit more experienced for him yet but it's on his list to come back in future to do the trail, it's very limited for wheelchair users so I'd try find other places to go that was safer for those who need to be more secure. Read moreAs a mountain biker, this is one of the best areas in the country to ride, the atmosphere and heneral friendliness of those that go is great. Shame about the rubbish that is left behind by the minority.
The purpose built trails are second to none, and you can session them or do full runs. Very good for progression.
