Do you want to go to this excellent playbarn in Staffordshire for just Ā£1? All you have to do is one thing. Go on 11th March Hockerhill are celebrating their first anniversary by charging just Ā£1 for entry. They’ll be balloons, banners and face painting as well as the usual zip lines, swings and go-karts. If you’re planning on taking advantage of this offer it’s probably best to book ahead. #Boredwithkids #daysoutwithkids #fyp #Staffordshire

Places to visit on a rainy day in the West Midlands ā˜”ļø ⁣ Hockerhill Adventure Playbarn in Staffordshire is an all-weather inside and outside adventure playground. It draws inspiration from the estate’s rich history with a magnificent mock oak tree that sets the stage for a plethora of adventures, with tunnels to explore, bridges to conquer, slides to whiz down, and elevated walkways to traverse. There’s even a lovely little area for under 5s! The spacious outdoor area also consists of zip lines, swings, slides, a sand pit, and go karts.⁣ We actually visited on a rainy day and it didn’t dampen our fun! We spent most the time indoors during our play session, and headed outdoors between showers. Elijah enjoyed playing pretend knights and dragons, and thought the play area was his castle! šŸ‰ ⁣ šŸ• There’s also an indoor cafĆ©, serving up an array of lunch options, pizzas, sandwiches, cakes, and pastries.⁣ ⁣ The only downside of Hockerhill Playbarn for us is being charged for adult tickets as well as the children, especially when we’re going to spend money in the cafe too. I wouldn’t mind if it was a couple of pounds, but it’s Ā£8 per adult. It’s a fun place to visit as a one-off or every couple of months, but I personally don’t think it would be a weekly mum catch up thing unless you purchased a membership. šŸŽŸļø From Ā£7.50-Ā£8 per adult, Ā£8.50-Ā£12 per child, from Ā£5-Ā£7 for toddlers. ā° 2 hour play session. šŸ“ Hockerhill, Kiddermore Green Road, Brewood, Staffordshire, ST19 9BQ⁣. ⁣ ⁣ ___⁣ #hockerhillplaybarn #westmids #thingstodowiththekids #ukthingstodo #placestovisitwithkids #placestogo #staffordshire

šŸ“Hockerhill Adventure Playbarn, Stafford, ST19 9BQ Why not head over to Hockerhill PlayBarn to join its Easter event and see the friendly Easter Bunny himself. The event started on Friday 11th April and runs until Saturday 19th April, explorers can crack the code in a specially designed trail that takes them across the playbarn and its outdoor area. Chocolate prizes will be rewarded to everyone who identifies the correct word from all the clues and there will be egg-stra special games to be enjoyed with the iconic Easter Bunny. Inside there is a big castle with slides, rope bridges, a reading corner and cafĆØ so you can refuel. Outside there’s three zips lines, sand pit, castle walls to run through & another kiosk for ice cream. You’ve then got the go carts that run from outside to inside which we loved. Whilst my two played hide and seek running from inside to outside, I sat on one of the many benches outside with a cake and a coffee having a much needed couple of hours of me time 😊 Due to popularity, pre-booking is recommended and the Easter events are subject to availability. Tickets start from Ā£7.50 for adults, Ā£8.50 for children (3 – 18 years) and Ā£5 for toddlers (1-2 years) and can be purchased from www.hockerhill.com  PR Invite #familyadventures #letsgoonanadventure #familydayout #dayoutidea #dayoutideas #adventure #familydaysout #familyreview #reviews #daysoutwiththekids #midlanddaysout #midlandsdaysoutwithkids #childrendaysout #makingmemories #exploring #newplaces #wheretogonext #happy #picoftheday #instagram #fun #family #review #staffordshire #stafford #hockerhilladventureplaybarn #easter #easterbunny #easterweekend

Loved this place. We went in the week on a Tuesday. Arrived for our booked time of 11am and didn't leave until around 3pm. It was rather quite being as it was in the week. Our 4 year old loved it! Not so much to do with a under 1 year old but they have a smaller dedicated area where he was free to roam and he enjoyed it. Our favourite thing as a family was the go karts. I was a little disappointed towards the end of our visit where two older boys were going up the slides the wrong way and no parents/staff were taking any notice. My daughter was trying to come down the slide at the same time and I didn't want her to be encouraged to copy them. I ended up saying to the boys that I'm not sure you are supposed to do that as it is dangerous and that others are trying to come down the slide but it had no affect on them. I ended up speaking to their parents who apologised and understood my concerns. Not sure what could be done about this but thought it was something to point out. Especially when they was going up the big silver slide that's covered. You wouldn't have known they was there. We are there also. I had the club sandwich which was nice, my partner had a pizza and daughter had sausage, chips and peas. We all had a milkshake. They have a variety of food and drink and responsibly priced also. There is only 1 electric hook up from what we saw. But unfortunately a none electric car was parked in front of it. Everywhere was clean and the staff were very friendly. Being outside on a windy day was rather windy at times as it is open to the elements. But it didn't matter. Still had a really fantastic time. Will definitely...

Lovely soft play very clean but be aware that the owners are taking advantage of customers. I visited on Friday 22.02.2025 for the first time booked onto the 16.00 session which was due to end at 17.30. My daughter enjoyed it so much that she asked to visit again, so I looked on the website at availability. I noticed what I thought was a glitch with the system so emailed their customer service team to question why the final session of the day was 1.5 hours and not 2.00 hours. They are fully aware of this and Sophie advised me that this is because its half term the session is still the same price meaning that if you attend the 16.00 session in the school holidays you will get to use the facilities for 30 minutes less than customers who booked earlier in the day.

Re: Your order for Hockerhill

Info To Pearl Ruston 15:01

25 Feb at 15:01 Hi Pearl,

The last session of the day is reduced during term time but it is full price during half term as we are significantly busier, this is simply because it is during half term. Just as our pricing is weekend pricing during the week in half term too. Our pricing is changeable based on on-peak and off-peak.

I will happily forward on your feedback in regards to timing to the owners and we will take your feedback onboard.

Thanks Sophie

Update: I have spoken with the owner and he has agreed to refund me the £6.50 to repay the pro-rated amount of the difference between the 2 hours against the 1.5 hours. This is appreciated, I just hope he listens to my point and reduces the price of the final session of the day to allow for the...

What a superb facility. This place has been so well thought out, the whole place is brand new and all of the play equipment is of superb quality from the wooden tree housewhich dominates the entire inside with its tunneled slide to the 3 zip lines outside and full size adult go karts to the small library. There is a separated area for 1-5 year olds which is excellently well equipped. Also there is loads of parking and even an EV charging point the staff are very well presented and extremely polite and helpful. The toilets again are superb they are very light and airy plus they have both male toilets and female toilets with baby changing facilities, there is also a disabled toilet which again had baby changing. The toilets themselves are immaculate and well presented and are checked for cleanliness on a regular basis throughout the day. What was unusual was the go kart track ran outside and then through the inside of the play barn. There is a cafƩ where you can get everything from a light snack to a full meal including a dessert both meals and drinks are reasonably priced. Lastly they have a shop which sells loads of different merchandise but as you should expect the prices are quite high but no more than any other place that sells their own branded merchandise. This play barn is highly recommended and you can very easily lose track of time whilst your children or as in my case grandchildren run off their excess energy and let their imagination run wild. We will definitely be returning with the grandchildren. Excellent,...
