It was the worst exsperience of my festival life. I had vip tickets and as advertised there was supposed to be a separate high level area for vips to watch acts, myself and my friends went to it after approx 30 mins we were told the area was unsafe and it would fall so we got off except 1 person, i spoke to a security member and he said the person was disabled which really didn't make sense that this person would be allowed in an unsafe area. I asked to see a manager, no representative came i ended up trying to talk to a very aggressive apparently head of security who screamed at me trying his best to intimidate me saying it was a disabled area only, so i was and all other vips were lied to when told to vacate area if this was the case nobody should of been let up there in the beginning as we all had to show our bands to get up there. Myself and friends will never go to that place again as poorly advertised and not...
Read moreI really enjoyed Sherdley Park and it is a beautiful place with great playgrounds for the children. I gave it 4 stars but in reality it is only due 3.5 as there are a few things that let it down.
Pro: Exercise Equipment Open Spaces Good playgrounds Good adventure area Nice for walking dogs or playing sports Nearby leisure areas Quiet gardens
Con: No toilet facilities - this is a real shame as it wholly spoils an experience and means that any visit is bound to be curtailed. Overflowing bins. This is another shame as it does lead to the casual discarding of litter and attracts unwanted pests.

The local council should encourage residents to take partial ownership via an association so that they can gain volunteers (and seek grants and funds councils are not able to access) to further improve the park. It has the potential to be a...
Read moreVisited yesterday (1st March 2025) with my wife and our 3-year-old. It was a beautiful sunny Saturday, and the park was full of life. The two kids’ play areas were bustling with families, and as expected, the classic ice cream truck was parked nearby; an essential treat on a bright day!
What truly stood out was the vast green open spaces. Even with so many visitors, the endless grassy fields felt spacious and serene. The view was simply breathtaking, with rolling greenery stretching as far as the eye could see. We spent over two hours soaking up the sunshine, watching our little one enjoy the play area, and just taking in the peaceful, open landscape.
