Christmas 5 COURSE DINNER !

arrived early and was promptly seated at our table there was a bottle of prosecco on the table unfortunately this was sat in a bucket of water and not ice perhaps they'd ran out as every table needed an ice bucket...

poor food service ... very very slow meals not arriving together (table of 3) 1hr10 mins after finishing our starter we got our main . our daughter's pudding arrived 1hr after finishing our mains but ours did not arrive until we explained to a waitress we would of all liked to eat together as a family (3)

poor quality (nothing like the Sunday dinners we love here ) the meat was nice about all really

food not as requested I requested very little gravy (it came literally like a gravy soup ) very disappointed

arguments between other customers and staff literally at our table until a member of staff kindly moved the argument to outside and later apologized to us as it was a bit worrying.

we ended up calling it a day before the last course as it simply wasn't enjoyable. maybe the times between courses or the portion size but we all left hungry and made food when we got home not what you'd expect after booking a...

Last night I was with my family for dinner. The wait time for food was ridiculous, then the food came separately as 2 meals went to the wrong table.The pulled beef on ciabatta was absolutely disgraceful 4 overcooked chunks of beef on ciabatta that was dry with virtually no sauce. 3 other tables complained in the area we sat. Apparently the chef was new !!! How can a chef not know how to cook Pulled Beef !!! It had taken me 4 months to get my Mom out of the house .. and this is what her experience was ( that’s the reason I didn’t complain .. if it was just me & my husband I would have demanded a refund !) the poor waitress was getting complaints left right and centre. I also had to go over and get my own cutlery as nothing on the table and I wasn’t given any. The locals are lovely people in this pub .. what a shame when you try to keep our local businesses going ! Hugely disappointing experience for a lot of diners I suspect last night. You need to sort your kitchen out ASAP ! This was once upon a time a great place to eat with...

My husband and me ordered a rump steak salad and a new off the menu Greek spiced chicken salad. I was asked how my husband wanted his steak - med to well done I responded. When these dishes arrived we were appalled. The 6 tiny chopped pieces of cold steak looked like it had been cut from a left over piece of meat, it was certainly not cooked as we expected and being stone cold told us it was left overs served on this salad. The fat on the steak was solidified.The greek spice chicken resembled thin wafers of something, burnt and bitty. It tasted like pork, was bland and not spicy and it was not freshly made as one would expect when paying for food in a pub restaurant. The tiny bit I daredto eat convinced me that this too was left over scraps dished up as a salad. Im praying I won't be sick even though i left the bulk of the meal. Certainly won't be going there again and if I do feel sick tonight this won't be the only post they will...
