St. Agnes Head is a fantastic place to walk. We were on the way back to Porthtowan and stopped here for 2 hours or so for some walks. You can park your car right here and then head to the fascinating Wheal Coates (or further). It's a pretty easy walk. Quite flat. Our English Bulldog managed fine. Even though fully exposed to the sun, the trail doesn't feel too hot, there's always a breeze - even on hot days.

The views are amazing. You'll find yourself stopping multiple times, just to take in the breathtaking views. Some benches on the way offer some rest.

There are walkers, but a lot less than expected. We arrived at around 4pm and there were only a handful visitors.

A really great walk, one of the finest in the area for sure. We love walks, especially coastal walks. If you're in the area, don't miss out...

One of my favourite walks is here to chapel Porth but this time we came at night to watch the stars, being a natural black site far away from light pollution. We wrapped up warm albiet not quite warm enough, flask of tea and some candles. Beautiful and wild this corner of the earth at St Agnes head. The place is protected from National Trust. There's three different parking places along the cliffs to park your car, with stunning views of the surrounding area and the ocean. Come and enjoy but leave no trace¬!
