Amazingly friendly staff, and a really tidy quiet site. The staff couldn’t do enough to help, the site is kept beautifully, and our lodge was spotless. The pool though smallish was plenty enough for my three children and a decent depth plus heated! The outdoor playground was brilliant. And the site was kept up together and very pretty. A pub and a shop just a few minutes walk away. In a good spot for so much of the island and small enough that the site isn’t rammed or noisy. Beware of the potholes when coming into the site entrance. Despite crawling along they are difficult to avoid due to cars parked from the local houses and big enough to damage tyres. Another thing to note is the lodges don’t have vacuums but if you ask at reception they have some you can borrow.

Loved this site. Clean, well maintained & lovely staff. Lodge very well equipped & felt like new. Great spot where we could enjoy the sun & hot tub well into the evening. Cute little pool which we wish had stayed open a little later to make the most of the barmy hot weather we had! No club house (which I preferred) but a lively pub just minutes walk away (no designated driver needed!). Short walk to the pretty St Helen’s beach & short bus ride to Ryde & beyond. Site is quiet & peaceful so may not suit families with children looking for more activities , but I personally loved this & would definitely stay again-perhaps in a luxury lodge with a rooftop view!

St Helens Coastal Resort Team are top notch, went above and beyond whilst we stayed, helped finding a garage for my broken car, rearrange ferry crossing and book to extend our holiday whilst my car was getting fixed, the park was clean, well manicured, and allowed us to have a peace and restful holiday, we will certainly be booking again, our lodge / caravan was spacious, hot tub was ideal during the sunset, and dog friendly, plenty of red squirrels running up and down the boundary fence which was a delight, all in all a lovely chilled holiday made by the team at this resort, thank you

The site is clean, quiet and friendly would have given 5 stars had it not been for lack of Wi-fi . Be aware only half the site actually has Wifi and unfortunately our caravan 53 in the far north of the park had neither Wifi or TV reception during our stay. I know the signal across the island can be patchy but we had nothing for 3 days. I don't think wifi is a luxury it can be essential to stay in order to stay in touch, plan activities, work email or amuse kids. When we had this issue at Rookley maintenance came round with an aerial booster for the TV and someone else suggested to us that reception could have issued us a wifi booster/dongle. We were looking for a tranquil break but because the weather suddenly changed it meant that we had no entertainment at all. Sadly this affected the enjoyment of our stay and maybe if we had known this we would have upgraded to a different caravan or lodge. Positives for the site are the friendly staff and the cleaning service is excellent. Shame the pool (small and unstaffed) closes when reception closes at 5pm given warm and light summer evenings. Also one minor point the walkways are all shingle so not great for baby buggies or accessiblity though not an issue if you have transport door to door. The location is good with a lovely pub "The Vyne" and convenience shop a short walk away. The number 8 bus (hourly service £2 fare) brings you directly to the pub bus stop/village green from Ryde hover or Catamaran bus terminal and the Island breezer open top double decker bus operates there also. Great scenic walks around Duver, Bembridge, Priory Bay and Seaview so didn't miss the car. Would return for a quiet break, if we could enjoy TV and Wifi...

Firstly - the customer service before we had even arrived was amazing. They called a week before we were due to arrive to ask if we had any issues regarding going - and to explain a few things regarding covid. We chose to leave our car in Portsmouth and travel over on the hovercraft and then the final journey by taxi - if your looking to do sight seeing and tourist things then you would be better with a car although there is a local bus stop nearby. We had no intention of going far for the weekend. We arrived on Friday for a 3 night stay - and I didn't want to go home. We booked the superior 4berth Lodge with hot tub - and it was everything I expected and more. The hot tub under the stars was amazing! The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of utensils - 6 of everything available. The place was spotless on arrival and they had even left sanitising spray should we need to use it or want to go over anything ourselves. The hottub was well maintained - it had been cleaned and refilled before our arrival and was checked daily by a gentleman. The site is quiet - but that is what we wanted. Small shop at the end of the lane but very well stocked and open until late. The duver is around a 15 minute walk and the harbour a 10 minute walk. i would also recommend the vine inn pub around a 2 minute walk from here - the steak was amazing and very...

Our stay here was very enjoyable. All the staff were very pleasant and we received a very warm welcome on arrival at the reception. We were even allowed early access to our caravan.

There was a lot of information left for us in the caravan about local places to eat and visit, some of which we went to which were very good.

The only thing that could have made this a 5-star review was the TLC that was needed in our caravan. The hot tub lid was completely split in half which made it very difficult to open. The water in the hot tub only seemed to be treated every 3 days. With how close we were to a lot of overhanging trees this was a bit of an issue. Insects were attracted to the untreated water, bity insects. Myself and my partner were feasted upon by the insects. If the water was treated a little more frequently this would have discouraged the insects. The toilet seat in the en-suite bathroom kept coming away from the toilet. The aforementioned trees could have used with a trim and the hot tub usually had leaves in it.

I would definitely book here again as it's in a great location on the island close to a lot of good attractions. the costs were on par with other places we had looked into.

Look forward to...
