An excellent garden and delicious cakes. Please note that you must book in advance. We visited Kathy Brown's garden with my sister, who had been previously and thought we might like it, and she wasn't wrong! Gorgeous garden, interesting planting, and choice of plants. We sat and listened to a short talk from Kathy about the history of the house and gardens. The wild flower meadow with bursting with butterflies 🦋 which was a joy. After strolling around the gardens, we sat and enjoyed a wonderful homemade cake and apple juice in the garden. It's definitely worth the price of entry. I will visit again for sure.

What a wonderful tranquil garden. It is very natural and inspiring. Kathy gave us such a lovely welcome and she gave us a really helpful map. The white bark birch trees looked lovely in sunshine. The aconites and hellebores were plentiful plus much much more. We booked to have tea and cake too. That was so delightful. A beautiful teapot of tea plus a slice of ginger and honey cake . The cakes were the icing on the cake! Different choices. We also had a nice walk to the church and sampled the holy well. Lovely village too. Lots of great public footpaths.

Beautiful and serene grounds with a wide variety of plants, shrubs, trees, and flowers--and places to rest and reflect. Kathy and her husband are welcoming and knowledgeable people who love sharing local history and botanical facts with their guests. The tea and cakes made by Kathy are not to be missed and may contain flowers from the gardens. The area is level and easy to walk, and we liked that the estate isn't too large and, therefore, retains an intimate feel and makes it accessible for people of all activity levels.

Kathy’s Garden is such a tranquil, beautiful place, for every age to enjoy and explore. It has many different areas of interest including a wisteria and laburnum walk, lovely formal garden, cottage garden, herbaceous and peony borders, climbing rose and wisteria displays, a wild flower meadow - I could go on and on! Kathy, Simon and family welcomed guests with a guided tour across acres of stunning garden. Followed by a spot of tea and cake, all home made by Kathy and utterly DELICIOUS! The woman is a genius with not only growing, but making amazing food using her edible flowers, yummy apples from the orchard etc. We enjoyed nettle, raspberry and elderflower, and dandelion cake. Yum! Thank you all. We shall be back. 💜

Plenty of parking. Restrooms, disabled friendly (plenty of seating available for the long walks around the garden), child friendly and dog...
