Bruntwood Park — Attraction in Stockport

I've taken my neices here for years, we used to frequent the childrens play park....The play area is absolutely awesome it has some great play equipment which is suitable for the younger child to children of 10 years and above. It is equipped with a zip wire, large rope climbing frame, swings, slides, huge sand play area, basketball hoop & another ball related piece of equipment & other things for the younger child.

The area is an enclosed area within the park, which is a good safety aspect. There are nearby toilets & also a kiosk, here you can purchase hot food, ice cream & hot/cold beverages.

It can get very busy on school holidays/when weather is nice.

There is also a large amount of parking, which is pay & display but it's reasonably priced.

It is highly recommended by me & my nieces.

Only 3.5 miles, approx 9 minutes drive from Manchester Airport Runway Visitor Park, is this lovely park that's ideal for families. A decent amount of parking leads to a host of available activity areas...grass, play, bikes and skateboards, pond, etc. It's also home to the Bruntwood Bowman Archery. The area is predominantly flat, and the play areas have been built with inclusion in mind, which helps users with disabilities to access the equipment. A little kiosk immediately by the park serves hot and cold drinks, some hot foods/snacks, and ice cream. There's also a more formal eating area in the conservatory building. Absolutely brilliant park for all ages..play area for under 5s And this has pirate ship with slide surrounded by sand. Kids love it. Swings x things they can climb on..alot of stuff for them to enjoy.. Stuff for bigger kids too Zip wire ..high slide..lots of stuff..
