Wonderful, very clean area, well maintained paths, beautiful variety of plants, some of the walks could be sign posted better, there are some more accessible walks if you have mobility issues. Pleanty of different car parks, but bare in mind the car park you choose may vary the immediate accessibility of the walks so I'd advise you pick your carpark based on rhe walk you choose. Dog friendly just clean up after your pets. There are bins at key points throughout the park as well as park benches and picnick tables. This park is tended with the help of Park Hall Friends who help clean the area and maintain its splendid atmosphere.

With a good sized car park and a short drive from Stoke, this is a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! There’s so much greenery! We were a little shocked by how many people there were around to start with, but as soon as we went deeper into the park there were less and less people. It was such a large area of grass, forest and mud at parts. There are a few ponds here and there (which I’m sure dogs would love) and many areas for kids to play in the trees! We loved it, it was a perfect Sunday walk in the countryside!

NEAR ABOUT HIKING EXPERIENCE: Nice place to spending a sunny day. At some points, i felt like i am in Himachal, India. because those small mountains points looks like that. If you want to some thrilling experience then you can go deep into the forest to explore. Nothing much to see but it could be nice thrilling experience. Thanks

I am leaving a 5 star review because this is a lovely nature park in Stoke, absolutely need the green space and it is teeming with bird and insect life, rabbits, and so on. It is an essential part of the city's ecosystem and you can have so many lovely walks here, no two walks are the same! There are some interesting geological formations and 100% worth the visit if you are in the area.

I will say, though as a warning, that there are issues with anti-social behaviour near the free car parks, including people with balaclavas on dirt bikes, and drug use. I have reported some behaviour to the police before. As such, I would not recommend going here alone particularly as a woman, unless it is a busy weekend day. This is nothing against the location itself, it is wonderful here, it's entirely due to some of the people who come here so I have not reflected this in the star rating - it's more an FYI...

Parkour at parkhall, free running,. Known locally as sandy hills its easy accessible from various entrances to park hall. From the very top car park walk down the grass hill. Great location for dogs to run free. Brilliant free climbing, free running and Parkour sand stone rock face from 10 ft high to 25+ft high. Good walks with fantastic views, bike friendly, good paths for all abilities of walkers etc Plenty of carparking space, one big outdoor play area, breathless views of the city and beyond. Worth visiting in all weather and day or evening, known for its sunsets in the summer evenings. Worth taking refreshments. Plenty of history from ww2 look out bunker ruins to dinosaur age fossil finds. Plenty to do...
