I can't say as I understand how this place has such a positive buzz. I mean, I enjoy postcard scenery and history as much as the next person but this place falls short. There isn't enough to consider it a working museum like say, the Black Country museum. If it can't deliver on that front what you actually have is en expensive walk to the bottom of the hill and back up. It's a bit steep if you pardon the pun. The ironic thing is the beauty of the place is lost by the horde shuffling shoulder to shoulder down a narrow little path. Impossible to recommend I'm afraid. I feel like philistine saying it but it's just not worth the bother. There are plenty of scenic villages in Devon that don't charge for the privilege of a good hill climb.

Beautiful coastline with stunning cliffs and views of Lundy Island. The whole stretch of coastline is dog friendly up until westward Ho!. On low tide this stretch of coastline is perfect for lock pooling and snorkeling for those who are brave enough. If you don't mind the rocky beach and the 10-15 minute walk to get down to the beach then I would highly recommend you take a visit. Would recommend for everyone this place to visit.

What a great day spent wandering around Clovelly, it's a must visit destination and well worth the entrance price. The streets are cobbled and will be slippery when wet and walk down to the harbour could be tricky for those less mobile, although there is a Land Rover service that can take you back to the car park, if required. Very quaint, take your camera and enjoy the views.

Beautiful coastline with stunning cliffs and views of Lundy Island. The whole stretch of coastline is dog friendly up until westward Ho!. On low tide this stretch of coastline is perfect for lock pooling and snorkeling for those who are brave enough. When we went, we saw an eel, lots of dead spider crabs, normal common shore crabs, and other rock pool life.

Although this stretch of coastline is quiet, it is quiet for a reason. With limited access to the beach with limited places to park (normally on sides of roads) the coastline is difficult to access. This is also not a sandy beach. The coastline beach consists of pebbles and rocks that some may find challenging walking over.

Walked today 30/10/23, a 12 mile circular taking in Hartland Point and 6 miles South before returning via an inland route, absolutely wonderful. Not Sunny, not dry, not calm blue waters. It was damp, windy, the waves were crashing onto the rocks and cliffs, just another chapter of the North Devon coastline, as thrilling as the last one and as epic as the next. Always beautiful, whatever the weather, whatever the season, you feel alive and at one with nature and the sea. Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Peregrine, and 2 lovely Horse Mushroom...
