National Trust - Dunsland — Attraction in Torridge District

A really beautiful and historical place, such a peaceful and relaxing spot. We sat in the orchard and it was literally buzzing with bees, wasps and hornets. Its a steep walk up to the old house site so not for those with mobility issues. The carpark is really small, probably no more than eight cars could park there. As its not tarmacked you'll need wellies after heavy rain. Cattle are in the fields so you'll need to keep your dog on a lead. No toilets, cafe, shop, plant sales or...

Very disappointing, there was absolutely nothing there !! It’s ok if you just want to walk through fields, but there wasn’t even anywhere to sit.
