We went in June 2023 and had a awful experience.

My toddler can not walk and is small for her age, at the time she was 16 months old. According the the rules toddler can go on the lift and must sit on your lap. We arrived and bought the saver tickets in advance. Only the be told my toddler is not a toddler because she can't walk or stand unaided. They asked if we had a carrier we didn't, we wasn't offered one, which apparently they sell on sight, although my toddler likely wouldn't fit in a baby carrier.

I questioned what they had said as no where did it say she needed to stand or walk unaided for them to class her as a toddler. Not on the rules outside the chair lift or on the website, and also not in the q&a a section on the website which has a question about children/the chairlift.

Apparently they've had the same rules for over 50 years now so we should have known. Never been before so not sure where that logic comes from, also a lot has changed in 50 years, the rules definitely shouldn't be the same for that amount of time.

My little girl is 19 months old now and still is unable to walk, she may never walk medically speaking. But we would have had an easier time having her sit on our laps back then at 16 months for the ride then we would now as she's much more wiggly, god knows how hard it must be to have a 2 or 3 year old sitting on your lap for that ride.

If they want to class all toddlers as babies if they can't walk unaided then they need to change their rules wording, make it easier to find the information and update their website. A toddler is 1-3 years a baby is under 1.

Her dad as taken her on one of the rides before the lift and was allowed to do that as long as she sat on his lap. Turned out the ride and all attentions use the same rules to class children as babies or toddlers, so technically she shouldn't have gone on the previous ride either. Which seems like they just make it up as they go along. We left very disappointed lucky just up the road was an amazing farm which had lots included in the administration price and she had...

Place is great.. Its the best among all UK attractions.. But the staff are absolute disgrace.I am really shocked how they are employing this kind of rudest and impatient staff and letting tourists down. I visited this place yesterday with my mom who had knee surgery and my dad with walking difficulty. It clearly say that they will stop the chair for people with disablities to get on (In the posters), but the short hair english lady who operate chair pushed my mom onto the chair saying she will be alright even after i mentioned she canโ€™t get on without stop which is still hurting my mom today๐Ÿ˜ข๐Ÿ˜ขThe same lady stopped the chair for an old english couple right before me and made them seated safely, but she has shown absolute discrimination I understood we being Indians.

So i decided no matter what we are not getting off until they stop as I love my mom so much everyday not only on motherโ€™s day and her safety being my topmost priority.

On the way back when we came up , I firmly said to a guy in his 50โ€™s definitely need a stop , he started yelling and shouting showing his anger at us , which was a shock to me , what kind of mad people they are employing at this place ruining the reputation of such a great place. They have no choice but to stop the chair for both my mom and dad. I dont care if they are angry , but mom and dad got off safe really matters to me.

I went straight to manager Mr.Geoff about to complain about their terrible staff , he was polite enuf to listen to me but I really doubt if he will take any action, couldnโ€™t hold myself as felt like to review it. I really doubt most of our Asians would have had similar experience where we spend more money at the attractions like this๐Ÿ˜• pls share it ,we dont need to be afraid of these people to raise our voice as we spend a lot money at places like this, I know so we deserve a happy experience and a memorable one to our parents but not...

experience was not good at all! Staff of chair lifts were racist and rude! They misbehaved with my uncle and when he called them out & said just this line โ€œ you were rude to meโ€ all staff ganged up on him. Another staff member guy very bulky with curly hair gave gangster vibes tried to scared my uncle by coming towards him like he is going to hit him! They threatened him not letting him back through chair lifts! They said , we will make you go back by climb the mountain. My unclesโ€™s wife was worried because my uncle has heart problem and it is not safe to walk up the mountain! she tried to tell them about his health issue but all gangster staff were not ready to listen her! They took it on their ego and make all other tourists to wait for 40 mints for no reason just for the sake if their ego! place was mind blowing but be aware of staff racist behaviour if you are planning to go! finally they let my uncle to go back through chair lifts after 40 to 45 minutes when another tourist warned them if anything happen to my uncle they will be responsible! Thank God my uncle got back home...
