Beautiful little hidden gem with a gorgeous little woodland walk. My Grandkids loved it, thought it was a magical garden with fairies and giants. A very peaceful picnic area with lots of benches (leave no trace behind) and some outstanding varied floral displays and a pond. The house is lovely and well kept, in fact the whole place is very looked after. Dogs to be kept on a lead but that’s not a problem and they can be let off a little further up on the Devisdale. A little cafe serving drinks here would be perfect but I guess that would attract more people and make it less a place to go to sit and think and chat as my hubby...

I can recall exploring this place as a youngster when it was more of a jungle than a garden. Now it is more easily accessed and open. The volunteer gardeners have to be praised for all the hard work done to make it more of a mini floral nature trail. Should be a riot of colour in the summer. I'd love to see the pond opened up a little with less plant life. Midge hell in summer! Fish used to be present. Worth spending an hour or so exploring as it's not too large a place. My only concern is the presence of dog poo!! Show...

A lovely spot which is rarely too busy, except from the point of view of parking on weekdays as is it a place of work. Devisdale is very popular with dog walkers and a pleasant spot, if you go outside of typical dog walking times (i.e weekend daytimes and just after school) then it's lovely and quiet. Good trees for kids to climb on and plenty of paths to play hide and seek, blackberries to pick in July/august. Dragon flies by the pond occasionally. And some great muddy puddles when it's...

Denzell Gardens are not large but there are some lovely areas that are a credit to the volunteers who look after the gardens. Near the main road into Altrincham it has a pond area with a lawned area with benches. Nearer to the. House it has a small sunken garden full of flowers and a couple of benches to relax and sit on. To leave via Green Walk there is a lovely black and white covered gate. It's a lovely garden to visit and walk round.

So I thoroughly enjoyed wandering both the gardens and the park area! They are well looked after and tranquil with beautiful flowers. Well done to the team that maintain the gardens and park area. The wild park area for dog friendly people is great and like a giant dog park, it would be nice if the council provided more dog waste bins for the area as people would gladly use them. Otherwise a fab place to visit defo recommended
