It’s ok -ish , 24 pound entry fee very expensive though . And 10 pound parking is a joke especially when you have to put up with numpty’s directing the you how too park . Very rude and aggressive car park marshals directing cars were to go . Them marshals should remember your paying “a lot “ for the privilege to park there . All staff inside the trail were nice . Food prices inside a joke , 2 pound for a marshmallow , they should charge less for them and use it to create a memory but this place seems to be just for profit . In terms of the trail itself it was. Ok . I’d feel better if entry price was cheaper or there was more lights / lights underwater with shooting water or something just a bit more wow . Ohh and there are a couple bottle necks with terrible small uneven paths , put some lights across the sides of the path maybe some temporary lights on the fence or something we could hardly see were we were walking. Half my party have been going here for 3 years and they said lights were better last year and seen to be getting...
Read moreWe thought last year it was good but not great, this year it was advertised as having new lights and a longer trail and it wasn't even as good as it was last year! The prices for food and drink were insane, we didn't buy anything despite the relentless attempts to grab more money. £8 just to park the bloody car. Cost £64 for 2 adults and a child and we were there less than an hour. It was just a load of projections on trees. Really underwhelming and defo not worth the price. The kids carousel was ancient and rusty, I could've walked it round faster! My 3 year old just sat there looking confused and asked to get off - £2.50 per ride! The money grabbing begins literally the second you scan your entry tickets. Not one actual Christmas tree with tinsel etc. £2 for a single marshmallow to roast. Sadly we won't be returning. Toilets also covered in wee and has to clean the seats to be able to use. 2 stars given for parking organisation and...
Read moreWe came back this year because it was just so beautiful, peaceful and magical feeling last year and honestly took my breath away. This year was so disappointing, half the lights were barely linked to Christmas at all, the carousel horses, saving the bees, mushrooms, small bits of fire in a round metal sculpture that reminded me more of bonfire night than Christmas and more. And for the prettier ones like the laser lights at the beginning they had music that just didn't fit the feel of the lights... I feel like when you walk around a lovely forest like Bedgebury you want to be transported to a magical twinkling wonderland and not flashing in your face lights with music that sounds more like you're in club, film or even at one point by the end of the trail alton towers... just really really disappointing, didn't make me leave feeling Christmassy at all or excited to come back next year,...
