Stanley marsh or the bog hole as it was formerly known. Very small place only 20 mins walk start to finish. Still smells like a bog. A few local kids hanging about but no dramas. Go if your passing dont go out of your way to go

A pleasant little nature reserve, a few little areas where you can stop and take in the nature. The circular route doesn't take overly long to complete, and there is a few occasions where the ground can be a bit muddy.

Beautiful place for a walk- lots of ducks and wild waterfowl, so dogs need to be controlled around wildlife! Difficult to find parking sometimes as not well marked on Google maps but an easy walk from the village.

The marsh has several nature trails, but they are not very clearly identifiable. The foot paths are not easy in places, but the tranquillity obtained by using them is quite rewarding. The native flora and fauna are worth the delving into what is a dark and sometimes slippy undergrowth. This place is not suitable for pushchair or wheelchair use. Always a really good walk whenever I have come here, perfect for short family walk or a good dog walk, very very easy to follow and takes you through what seems like multiple spots from forest, golf field and farm field. Enjoyed every time I’ve been and would definitely recommend this as has to be one of my...
