This burial chamber is well worth a look when you think it would still have been a 3000 year old monument when the Din Lligwy stone village up the road was active and thriving 2000 years ago. It used to hold the remains of 30 men and women and children and the raised limestone pavement leading to it is still visible and just how did they get that 25 ton headstone up to where it is without any metal tools?. There are visible vertical gouge marks in this headstone so were heavy rope pulleys used somehow?. Respectfully fenced it which was nice to see and free to view.
