Trwyn Du Lighthouse is at Penmon point. It was built by Trinity House in 1838 at the north entrance to the Menai Strait (the strait which separates Anglesey from mainland Wales. It is an impressive sight, sitting just a short distance from the Anglesey shore. The shoreline provides some good opportunities for nice walks. It is great spot to unwind.

Great place to visit while in the area. £3.50 for cars to get down the road to the main car park. Super deep rock pools for the kids at low tide, chance to see seals and a great view of the lighthouse and puffin island.

Brilliant place. Can take your caravan too. Small fee to pay before entering to area. Roads are little narrow and may find difficult during holidays. There is a restaurant near the beach.
