A lovely relaxed tour of Guys cliffe. Steeped in history and folklore, it made for a pleasant experience with a knowledgeable guide. Beautiful scenery with a walk way and high views. The tour not only covered the story of Guy of Warwick but also the history of subsequent owners of the land, architects of the buildings and its eventual demise but also a little bit about the free Mason's who have taken on more of a custodial ownership of the remaining property. Really genuinely nice people who also volunteer to maintain the property and provide a smashing selection of refreshments after the tour. For less than £16 per person - it works out at about just over £5 per hour we were there and that's not including the tea and cakes which were complimentary. Definitely worth going to if you have an interest in the history of Warwick and if you have seen Dragon slayer at Warwick castle and want to see where the...

Went to the cliff House on my holiday to a Warwick last week, really cool and spooky. But extremely difficult to find and unclear website, I got some cool photos and was desperate to find the house due to my interest in paranormal history, however was asked to leave by the paranormal encounters team who were holding an event at the house. I was under the impression that beyond the gates were only open for certain events and Google stated it was open. I didn't know that going to the house and taking photos of the exterior was not allowed except for once a year or so. (I would not be allowed on events as I had my son with me). The woman was quite rude and left a bitter taste in my mouth. Such a shame really but at least I got some photos before being...

We had our wedding at Guys Cliffe and honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Alex and Helena were brilliant from start to finish, nothing was too much trouble, and they made everything feel really relaxed and easy on the day.

The setting itself is stunning and so unique, but what really stood out was how smoothly everything ran thanks to them. And the food… wow. Everyone kept commenting on how good it was, especially the chicken and chips in the evening - they were a proper crowd pleaser and exactly what we all needed after drinks and lots of dancing.

If you’re thinking about having your wedding here, we’d 100% recommend it. Beautiful venue, great food, and Alex and Helena really go above and beyond. Thank you for making our...

Guy Cliffes House. A Historic 1700th Century House and Chapel that was built on a Cave site dating much further back to the time of the Druids and believed to be used as a place of worship throughout the years. The very same location that Guy of Warwick drew his final breathes as he died a hermit. From the minute you enter the gates, a very eary feeling washes over you and you feel the energies of this place pass through you. An all round incredible experience. The place itself has easy accessibility for cars and a very warming but church like greeting room. There are toilets here located near main entrance. I wouldn't suggest anyone whom has difficulty walking to take on this tour as there are alot of narrow staircases and uneven ground.

Amazing location! Wonderful history, tales of the legend of Guy of Warwick, a once beautiful mansion house and grounds, now a mere shadow of its former grandure but still fabulous to look around. The chapel of St Mary Magdalene is lovely. The caves over looking the river and the lookout point with stunning views. A very spooky place by night with many ghostly tales and encounters. Freemasons meet here but it can be hired for functions and weddings as well as meetings and ghost hunts. Guided tours are from £10 per person not £40 as someone else quoted on a review! Heritage Open Weekend every September see the place open to the public FOR FREE! And there are also tours with an afternoon tea on selected dates.
