I think there are other car parks but the one I went to was £1 for 2 hours, which was fine. It's a lovely woodland, hillside walk, quite a few paths, dirt and paved. Everyone I have bumped into has been really friendly. The views are 👌 I went back again the next day, especially because alot of the other surrounding walks, hills etc, are really really sandy but bourne woods is great. Dogs pop out of nowhere sometimes, and I have a reactive pitksy, and two other dogs, but actually the other walkers are very polite and offer to put the lead on their dogs etc, it's great for socializing the pitksy, lots of positive interactions for him.

Just literally found this on the map because there was a hiking symbol. Ended up going on a 5 mile hike, up and down, passed what looked like a maze made out of hedges, didn’t investigate as I thought I could next time I come. Then ended up in a steam museum all because I wanted a drink and a bit of cake, (ended up having a sausage roll)
