Old Kiln Light Railway — Attraction in Waverley

Spent several hours here. There was so much to see and do. Some artefacts from my childhood (e.g. the older soldering irons you need to heat in a flame first). Bore water pump. Heaps of steam and home made mechanical displays.

The railway looks amazing, although it wasn't operating on the day I visited.

Very disappointing. I politely asked to see the engines in the sheds that were not operating but was told not possible due to health and safety.
