I did the St. Alban's 10K here and was a great experience. Since it was one of the hottest days of the year I would have liked to have seen more water stations, but it was a great event in a lovely setting.
Plenty of parking and great woodland surroundings. There was a nice shady spot to sit down one side of the main park area to keep away from the full sun.
Definitely worth a visit and feels very different to both Clarence Park...

There are some really good events hosted on the square which if you can get it is worth a visit. When events are on there is normally no other access to the square and nothing except Nelsons Column sticking up...
