A few days ago we wanted to go for a walk in a new place and we found this park on Google maps. Being a portrait photographer, I wanted to create a few memories for my kids outside the studio. Nature is great. We really loved this place and we will come back to see all of it.

A great public open space for all the family. There is a child's play area for youngsters too. On the day I visit a peregrine falcon off St Albans Abbey preservation, conservation program was circling Highfield Park. Can see it as a pin in photo if you look closely.

large park but quaint. the main area is some kind of fields or is it just lawns. there is an asphalt path along the contour, but it is still very dirty now.

I did the St. Alban's 10K here and was a great experience. Since it was one of the hottest days of the year I would have liked to have seen more water stations, but it was a great event in a lovely setting.

Plenty of parking and great woodland surroundings. There was a nice shady spot to sit down one side of the main park area to keep away from the full sun.

Definitely worth a visit and feels very different to both Clarence Park...

I lived around St.albans for a long time and thought I knew every nook and cranny of this place but I seems not as I got a bit lost one day whilst out hunting wild Pokemon's and taking down gyms whilst walking to work. It's massive to say the least. Parts nice for walking, big areas for playing. Great for dog walkers. Probably should check out a map to truly appreciate just how far Highfield extends. Or risk...

Come for a quick visit and have a look around but really not a lot to see. Limited options of good restaurants and cafes. Lately there are way too many street performers. There are some really good events hosted on the square which if you can get it is worth a visit. When events are on there is normally no other access to the square and nothing except Nelsons Column sticking up...
