They've just got all the costumes back out and other items/exhibitions that were put away due to Covid. The Dinosaur room is perfect for younger children (up to around 6/7) and there are lots of rooms with drawers etc for the kids to explore.

Read moreThis is an incredibly good museum. The thematic approach is extremely well thought out bright and interactive. It’s strength is in the concentration on oxford and it’s surrounding areas which really opens ones mind as to what is right here. It is excellent for children of all ages and with its various programmes of activities makes this a must to visit. Great little cafe and super grounds to walk around. It will inspire people to find out more in their local area. I met several people from different countries so hopefully this is taken into account. Despite being on several floors it is disabled friendly. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. OTHER SMALL LOCAL MUSEUMS SHOULD COPY THIS ONE. it is a terrific examplar of what can be achieved to inspire and excite...
