I had an excellent time with Nigel and his Hawk, Cassius. The walk was a short distance so nothing strenuous; to the end of a field then into some woodland; but this gives a great opportunity for Cassius to fly off, take perch in trees along one side of the field, then come back on Nigel's command. This happens many times over as throughout this Nigel explains about the hunting techniques and biology of the hawk, how it is deciding what to do, and it's flight technique. The whole group gets involved in having the bird land on them, and my eight year old niece and nephew enjoyed the experience. This experience is great for children; as long as they can follow instructions about when to raise their arms or keep their arms down, otherwise they may have a hawk try and land on their arm unexpectedly! The session was about 1hr 20 minutes, which I thought was good value for this great experience which I wouldn't get to do anywhere else.

Had a fabulous time finding all about Harris Hawks and getting up close with them! The falconer, Nigel, was very knowledgeable and had tons of interesting facts to share. We even got to meet his new baby owl! What a treat! A really interesting morning out, thoroughly reccomended for something unusual to do!

We had an incredible time with Nigel and his hawk and owl. He not only gave us a great experience seeing the birds, but also taught us so much about them and the history of falconry. I can’t recommend this experience enough, it was just amazing.

Brilliant fun and incredibly engaging, this was the highlight of our holiday. Nigel is entertaining & knowledgeable; cares passionately for his birds and is committed to providing a first class experience to his customers. A family of four adults, we spent an hour learning how to fly a hawk, having him land on our outstretched arms as we walked across a field. We met 2 hawks and the sweetest barn owl ever. The hour flew past, despite dreadful weather (make sure you dress appropriately). I cannot recommend this highly enough - we'll definitely be...

A fabulous walk which exceeded all expectations. Nigel is extremely friendly, knowledgeable and informative pitching the walk to capture the interest of our two grandchildren who were fascinated. We all thoroughly enjoyed flying the beautiful Harris Hawk and seeing the Barn Owl. We would all recommend taking part in this very...
