Nice area to walk dogs, easy to spend an hour+ with various routes. There's a great sandy area at the bottom where our dog loves to have a dig. They often have cattle roaming but there's more than enough space. There's a reasonable car park (free) opposite the entrance to Stourport Manor Hotel, though the entrance is easily missed as its on a bend. There is another area to park by the Rose & Crown pub but only about 4 or 5 spaces. The only downsides are that there's no bins of any sort, leads to people leaving litter around the car park. When we went early this morning we saw some silver canisters and other signs of drug use on the edge of the car park. If like us your dog is a bit reactive, most people walk their dogs off lead, we came across quite a few moments today where dogs came bounding over but owners either couldn't recall their dogs or just weren't within sight. Something to...

I love the common and its many different walking routes over sand or under the canopy of trees. Every walk can feel completely different to the last.l depending on which route you take. It's wonderful to meet and greet so many other walkers and their dogs, as well as occasionally spot the long-horned cattle that live there.

My only gripe - that is shared by many - is the ignorance of some dog owners who do not clear their dog's poop from walkways. There's so much of it now that I think it makes some people wonder why they should bother collecting their own dog's mess when nobody else seems to collect theirs... Well, I do, and so do plenty of others! Please let's avoid spreading illnesses to each other's dogs and clear up after yours. Thank you!

Otherwise, it's a fabulous outdoor space...

Visited late morning last week, lovely area to walk around and a real treat to see the cows. However, single lane access made it difficult to enter/exit car park and by the time we left the car park at around 1-2pm, it was full. A few picnic benches were available, no cafe or toilet facilities. No playground but plenty of space for kids to run around and trees to climb. Only big shame was that several dog walkers were not picking up their dog mess from the grass or leaving dog mess in bags on the floor. Appreciate it's an outdoor space but it's still public, dogs should be kept within eyeline to check if they are defecating; other dogs, adults and kids should be free to walk/run around without the risk of stepping...

Simply a great place for a peaceful wander. Come rain or shine there are many paths to explore. Some amazing trees and horse bushes. Wild Longhorn cattle roaming and plenty of wildlife to watch. Viewpoints over Stourport and beyond. Easily accessible and a large car park.

A lovely place to walk with yourself, couples, and groups, see wildlife and also you may see cows grazing as it is also shared with a local farm. Good paths to walk on also if you love picking berries you will find many bushes containing them.
