Good variety of food here which was cheap but tasty, however the whole experience was really let down by the woman behind the bar. Not sure if she was the owner or not but did state her husband was the chef. She was rude, miserable, and genuinely made us feel completely unwelcome as we wanted to order food. We didn’t even want main meals, just a variety of sides, loaded fries and a few baguettes and she made it very clear this was a big problem. She was swearing under her breath when bringing the plates out and very much hurried us out the doors. Absolutely shocking service considering we spent over £200 as a group in less than 90mins, no idea why she has such a problem with us! A real shame as we own a caravan at the site over the road, but won’t be going back as the service was terrible.

Why own a pub if you don’t want a good amount of business on a Saturday afternoon? It was a last minute decision to pop in for a drink and some lunch and our whole group agreed she ruined the experience and made us feel like we were not wanted. Need to learn some skills in...

It's a nice ride there, as I got there nice and early I got a nice space before it got too busy. Right - Food Time 😋

Spoilt for choice. There was the bar menu with my guilty pleasure sausages and chips, then, just as I was getting my drink, they brought out some lovely looking cobs. Time for those later in the summer, tonight I was going to check out the food truck they had laid on.

It was called Flava and very flavourful it was too. Simple menu Chicken Ruby or Chilli over Rice or Chips. I went with the Chicken Ruby over pilau rice. Good portion, tasted great with plenty of juicy chicken and the perfect level of spice for me.

They also have an ice cream van later in the evening too

Our local , always a smile and warm welcome from Debbie. Her bar staff are superb. Drinks are fab,wide range and lots of 0% options as im a driver! Food menu just renewed lots of choice. Friday night during summer is bike night. A wonderful display of brilliant bikes from all over our county. Warm in winter,cool in summer. Dog friendly, well behaved children tolerated!! Its not a' la carte' but definitely worth the money.
